Health Insurance
100% of employee premiums paid by the firm. Coverage becomes effective upon date of hire and includes a prescription plan and vision coverage.
Dental Insurance
100% of employee premiums paid by the firm. Coverage becomes effective upon date of hire. Preventative care is covered at 100%.
Cafeteria Plan
Allows employees to pay for some expenses with pretax dollars, including insurance premiums for dependent coverage under the health and dental plans and contributions into two types of Flexible Spending Accounts (described below).
Health Care Reimbursement Flexible Spending Account
Allows employees to set aside pretax dollars to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare related expenses.
Dependent Care Assistance Flexible Spending Account
Allows employees to set aside pretax dollars to pay for dependent care expenses.
Short Term Disability
100% of employee premiums paid by the firm. Benefit is 70% of basic monthly earnings after a 30-day waiting period. Support staff employees are eligible for this benefit after one year of employment with the firm. Attorneys are eligible from date of hire.
Long Term Disability
100% of employee premiums paid by the firm. Benefit is 66 2/3% of the first $30,000 of basic monthly earnings after a 90-day waiting period. Support staff employees are eligible for this benefit after one year of employment with the firm. Attorneys are eligible from date of hire.
Life Insurance
Two life insurance policies with Accidental Death and Dismemberment provisions. One policy equals $25,000 and another equals 11/2 times annual base salary. Option to purchase supplemental or dependent life insurance at low rates. In addition, an employee traveling on firm business has an additional $250,000 death benefit.
Employee Assistance Program
Confidential counseling is available for employees and household members at no cost for the first eight visits.
Tuition Reimbursement
Employees who attend school to further their education may qualify for a 50% reimbursement of tuition. Courses must be job related and approved in advance, and the employee must receive grades of at least "B-".
Paid Time Off
Employees begin accruing Paid Time Off immediately on date of hire. New employees accrue at the rate 1.583 days per month.
Firm Holidays
Ten paid holidays per year.
Maternity Leave - Support Staff
Six weeks paid maternity leave for support staff employees who return to work for a reasonable length of time at the end of the maternity leave. Support staff employees are eligible for this benefit after one year of employment with the firm.
Maternity Leave - Attorneys
Twelve weeks paid maternity leave for attorneys who return to work for a reasonable length of time at the end of the maternity leave. Attorneys are eligible for this benefit from date of hire.
Family Bereavement Leave
Paid leave up to three working days for employees who experience a death in the immediate family.
Alternate Hours
Variable hours (available for some departments) with start times of 8 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9 a.m., and 9:30 a.m.
Parking
100% paid for by the firm.
