Biography

Attorney Eric Brown first made a name for himself as Defensive Back on the UC Berkeley football team. Today, he is a proud member of the Baron & Budd team. "B&B is a team of great people who do great things for great, hard-working people," he says.

An attorney with Baron & Budd's Beverly Hills, California office, Eric represents people diagnosed with mesothelioma as a result of their exposure to asbestos. He recently joined the firm after handling cases on behalf of plaintiffs with another California firm, where he was part of a team that secured a significant judgment against an insurance company for a bad faith denial of insurance coverage.

Eric's diverse interests and talents extend well beyond the football field. In law school, he was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Black Law Students Association; as an undergraduate at Berkeley, he was involved in the Black Student Union. He previously provided legal services pro bono through the FAME Legal Clinic and served as a mentor through the Volunteers in Parole program. He is also deeply committed to issues involving the Latino and African-American communities, and is conversant in Spanish.

Eric became a lawyer because of the ability it affords him to make a serious difference in his clients' lives. As an attorney with Team Baron & Budd, he lives his mission every day.
